Marc Goldberg was born in New York, and received his B.M. and M.M. from The Juilliard School:  bassoon studies were with Harold Goltzer.  He appears regularly with the Metropolitan and New York City Opera, New York Philharmonic, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra of St. Luke's and St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble, Brooklyn Philharmonic, American Symphony Orchestra and Sea Cliff Chamber Players. 

Mark is a member of the American Composers Orchestra, Bard Festival Orchestra, and both the Eos and Concordia Chamber Orchestras.  He has toured Europe, the Far East and the Americas as soloist and chamber musician with Orpheus, St. Luke's, New York Woodwind Quintet, Brandenburg Ensemble and the New York Chamber Soloists.  Recordings include works with Orpheus, St. Luke's, the Met, ASO, ACO, Brooklyn Philharmonic, Concordia, Eos and Chelsea Chamber Ensemble.  Also active in commercial recording and on Broadway. Faculty, The Hartt School since 1994.  Juilliard Pre-College faculty since 1988.
