Designer Tetsu Ohara collaborates
with the ensemble for the Sospeso
Cabaret program on April 16, 2005 at studioseven.
Tetsu Ohara has engaged in architectural, fashion, exhibition,
and product design projects in Japan, Canada, France, and United
States. He grew up in Japan, was schooled in the West Coast, currently
works in New York City with much international exposure. Some of
his New York highlights include the Grace Building Lobby/Plaza Renovation
with Rosen Johnson Architects; Issey Miyake's making things
exhibtion at the Ace Gallery with the Miyake Design Studio; the
Salvador Ferragamo SoHo retail store with Gabellini Associates;
the IBM Building's 37th floor office renovation; and the concert
set design for Sospeso's Quartre Chiens program at the
Lincoln Center Festival 2004.
