Sospeso gives the east
coast premiere of legendary electronic music composer Morton
Subotnick's Release for live musicians and surround
sound electronics at the San Francisco Tape Music Festival
in Troy, NY.
The festival
features performances by composers and visual artists of the
San Francisco Tape Music Center. Also on the program will
be a performance of Subotnick's Mandolin for live
musicians, tape and film, with filmmaker Anthony Martin.
Founded
by Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, EMPAC is an arts institution
