Seminal composer, electronic musician, and conceptual artist Alvin Lucier works with Sospeso this season to bring to life an ongoing sound installation at New York's downtown venue Engine 27.

For this project, Lucier revisits his classic work of generation and deterioration, I Am Sitting in a Room. Lucier recorded forty different acoustical spaces in Eastern Europe, from mine shafts to cathedrals: Sospeso's Instrumental sounds will be projected into these virtual acoustical spaces.

The installation will be open to the public for the duration of its exhibition.
